German Wittner Metronome- Mahogany wood With Bell

This Wittner Metronome has been constructed with precision and care from selected hardwoods by German craftsmen. A useful tool for keeping time and a beautiful piece of décor to display in your music room. Wittner has been manufacturing musical products since 1895, and their products are known for quality and reliability. Over many years they have become the manufacturer with the widest range of metronomes in the world. Their traditional metronomes are built to last; if they are properly looked after, they will last up to 100 years or more!

This metronome is Wittner’s top-of-the-range model, made with beautiful mahogany wood and a matte finish, a completely wooden casing. This material produces the most pleasant and traditional tick-tock sound. The size will also affect the tone and volume of a metronome, which is loud enough for use with a piano or in an ensemble setting.

This traditional metronome operates through a wind-up mechanism, so there’s no need for batteries. A bell will sound to emphasize the first beat of each measure, and a chime will sound every 2, 3, 4, or 6 beats. You can set the tempo from 40-208 beats per minute using the weight on the ticking needle. Move the weight upward for a slow tempo (long slow ticks), and move the weight lower (short and fast ticks) to adjust faster. It also has Italian tempo terms next to the BPM marks as a guide.
