Instruments from Animato Strings are professionally set up and optimised for the best possible sound by Animato's onsite luthiers.

Instruments like the violin, viola, cello and double bass that utilize a bow are called bowed stringed instruments. Towards the latter part of the Middle Ages, the Arabian rabab, as well as the rebec, were played extensively in France and Spain. They are considered to be the forefathers of the violin. In the 15th Century. a bowed stringed instrument showed up in Europe, called a fiddle. The Arabian rabab had its influence spread to China where it developed into the Chinese erhu and morin khur. Erhu and violin are therefore relatives!and so they are relatives of the violin.
