Kurt Sassmannshaus, a violinist who holds the Dorothy Richard Starling Chair for Classical Violin at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, is regarded as one of today's preeminent violin pedagogues (CCM). Prizewinners from big international events, influential soloists and chamber players, and ensemble representatives from across the world are among his pupils. Many of them teach at prestigious conservatories in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
