Obligato strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which is wound with chrome steel. They have a bright, brilliant and focused sound, with a growly tone especially true for the E-string. With a very quick response, they are suitable for arco and pizzicato playing and are an exceptional well-balanced set. They are completely impervious to changes in temperature and humidity, which makes them a very stable and reliable string.
