The Flesch style chinrest is super comfortable, with a generous cup offering plenty of real estate for various chin/jaw placements. The Flesch appeals to the same people as the Teka but to those who prefer a more exaggerated shape. Its "hill" is shorter and rounder, and its "valley" is deeper.
This is a flat circular-shaped chinrest with the feature of being played either with a centre mount or placed slightly to the left. It has a larger-sized chinrest with a slightly shallow cup that can be mounted over or on either side of the tailpiece. The lip is nicely rounded and sharper as it descends slightly toward the edge.

Loosen up the brackets and rest the chinrest to the left of the tailpiece, as seen in the product picture.

This Teka Chin Rest is - according to our experience - the most comfortable chin rest for most violin and viola players. This version is made of genuine ebony timber and is hand carved.
