The bridge-mounted STAT-V pick-up for violin and viola is designed to accurately reproduce the instrument's strings' warm sound like you're using a microphone, leaving you free to move around as expressively as you want! It gives depth and body to lower strings and produces the clarity and brightness of higher ones.
Impressively resistant to feedback, STAT-V is an excellent choice for loud musical environments or rock /jazz/fusion performances with high amplification levels. Because it is an electrostatic transducer, not a piezo, you get a warm, accurate tone. It fits in the "eye" of either violin or viola bridge. Strong output signal. No feedback!
The standard STAT-V SET includes pickup, cable, and battery-powered STAT-PRE preamp with volume control.
