These strings offer excellent responsiveness and control across the entire dynamic range, from very soft to loud, and come in three gauges with distinct sound differences:
• Soft gauge: warmer sound than medium gauge.
• Medium gauge: brilliant sound based on a warm core sound.
• Strong gauge: significant volume and brighter sound than the medium gauge.
They have exceptional tuning stability, are ready to be played immediately, and are suitable for electric or electrically amplified cellos.
• A and D strings: high-tensile steel core wound with chrome steel
• G and C strings: rope core wound with tungsten
• A and D strings: great brilliance and warm core sound
• Transition from D to G string: Smooth
• G string: more depth and volume
