• Hand-carved solid spruce top (belly)

• Lightly flamed maple flat/bevelled back and sides with attractive violin corners.

• Finest ebony fingerboard and tailpiece

• Maple bridge and German-made Rubner machine heads

• Presented in an FPS heavy padded bag

• Carbon graphite bow in a choice of French (default) or German style. 

• It has a flat solid maple back, bevelled to the heel, solid maple ribs and neck and a solid resonance spruce top. 

• The body and scroll have a rounded outline superior in craftmanship to Series III. 

• Top-notch workmanship and high-level accessories

• Oil varnish has been applied by hand. 

• Available in 3/4.

The Gliga II Series double bass has been handcrafted in the Gliga workshops in Romania. Made from tone woods grown in the famous Carpathian Mountain region, this model represents outstanding value for a European instrument.
