Charles Collin-Mezin was born in Mirecourt, France, in 1841. He came from a family of luthiers and was skilled in crafting violins, violas, cellos, basses, and bows.

This is the J.T.L. Violin made in France. JTL or Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy & Cie is a musical instrument making company in France formed by Louis Emile Jérôme Thibouville and Marguerite Hyacinthe Lamy in the 1900’s.

This is the German Violin Hagen Weise 2019. Hagen Weise dedicated himself to making fine violins and other instruments in his shop, producing 150 to 200 violins per day.

This Friedrich August Glass violin was made after Antonius Stradivarius Flew Copy Cremona. Friedrich August Glass is a German violin maker who concentrated his well-developed skill on producing Stradivarian models. He gained a gold medal for excellent work in London.

This violin is Labeled Johann Baptist Schweitzer 1844 Repaired by M Nebel New York c 1895. Johann Baptist Schweitzer was considered one of the finest violin makers in Vienna. He adopted a more classical approach to classical models, emulating Amati and Stradivari patterns with some authenticity. M. Nebel & Bros was established by the Nebel Brothers Martin, and Andrew Nebel who specialized in making and restoring violins.
