Piatti, Method For Cello Bk 1 (Stainer And Bell)
Piatti's Violoncello Method is a collection of teaching compositions by various authors such as Duport, Romberg, Dotzauer and Lee. It features brief but highly effective methodic notes. This method is intended to guide students through the initial stages of playing technique, all the way up to early exercises in the fifth, sixth, and seventh positions (in the Tenor Clef). However, students need a basic understanding of music theory to comprehend and utilize this method.
