Komarovsky, Concerto No1 E minor for violin and Piano (Peters)
Komarowski, a Russian violin teacher of Polish descent, makes his American debut with this publication. The first movement, included in Grade 8 of the RCM, is comparable to Haydn’s Concerto in G Major. It mainly uses first and third positions, offering advanced and simplified notes. Overall, it’s a light and enjoyable piece for students and audiences alike. - American String Teacher, May 2007
