Tchaikovsky Serenade Melancholique Op. 26 for Violin (Edition Butorac Munchen) Revised and edited by Tomislav Butorac for Violin and Piano Serenade Melancolique was composed by Pyotr Illyich Tchaikovsky in Febryary 1875. It was the first work that he wrote for violin and orchestra. It was written a few months after he finished composing his Piano Concerto No 1 in B flat minor. Interestingly both works are in B flat minor.
