Gauge “weich”: Compared to the medium orchestra set, the sound of the “weich” strings is brighter and growlier with a little more sustain. The set has a pronounced core sound.
Due to the reduced string tension, playability is easier than with the standard set.
The Evah Pirazzi Solo Tuning 3/4 Bass Set is designed for F♯–B–E–A solo tuning, one whole step above standard double bass tuning. It can also be tuned to standard E–A–D–G, where it provides an especially light playing feel compared with the Evah Pirazzi Weich set.
