We're also introducing the Il Cannone Warm & Broad A string, which is perfect for adding warmth and body to your sound. Pair it with the D string for optimal results, or combine it with the Direct & Focused D string for greater clarity and depth.
The Direct & Focused C string offers a unique sound, while the Warm & Broad C string provides a warmer and broader tone with a new core foundation.
The Il Cannone C and Magnacore C strings have different core sounds. Il Cannone C strings have a well-defined and enduring core sound, resulting in a more focused overall sound. The Magnacore C string has a broader and less centred core. Renowned artists like Gautier Capuçon and Daniel Müller-Schott prefer the Magnacore string. Ultimately, the choice between the two is a matter of personal preference.
Due to its low tension, the Magnacore C Arioso offers the easiest playability in pianissimo within the Magnacore family. Despite the medium tension, the Il Cannone C strings come close to this level.
