Giuseppe Giacchetti (1890 -1980) is a student of Rodolfo Fredi in Rome conservatory where he studied music and violin. He established first his workshop in Via Marsala n° 34 and then move to Paris in Montreuil (Seine) in 1920 and settled his workshop there. Giacchetti returned to Roma after his time in Paris. He used the label “Roma” in his entire professional career. His instruments would have both Roma label and Paris stamp.
