Tonica Violin E Strings 1/2- 3/4 by Pirastro

Silvery Steel or Aluminum is wound over a steel E string. The steel E wound with the aluminum winding variation produces a warmer sound. Tonica strings have a nylon core and produce a well-rounded sound. They respond instantly to any bowing style and have reduced background noise. They provide positive feedback to the left hand and are easy to play even at the highest positions. Playing delicately has considerably improved.
