Kreuz, Select Studies For Viola Bk 3 (Stainer & Bell)

Emil Kreuz was a talented German musician born in Elberfeld in 1867. He was skilled in playing both the violin and viola and was also an accomplished composer, conductor, and teacher. Over ten years, Kreuz created a vast collection of music suitable for violists of any level. His pedagogical works were so impressive that the RCM and the Royal Academy of Music adopted them. His music was recommended to violists for decades, and his “Select Studies” in five books was a popular source of study material.
