Pleyel, Ignaz Joseph

Ignaz (Ignace) Joseph Pleyel, born on 18 June 1757 and passing away on 14 November 1831, was a renowned Austrian composer, music publisher, and piano builder during the Classical period. His formative years and education occurred in Austria, a part of the Holy Roman Empire. In his mid-twenties, he relocated to France, where he spent the remainder of his life, leaving a lasting impact on the musical landscape of the era.
