ZMT Endpin For Violin Or Viola
ZMT has designed this endpin to provide the easiest way of adjusting the tailgut length.
Changing the length of the tailgut allows you to vary or optimise the sound that your instrument can make.
Experimenting with tailgut length can be time-consuming and patient, but ZMT has solved this problem with this revolutionary endpin.
The ZMT endpin™ is designed to rotate, allowing you to easily adjust the position of your tailpiece using a simple key. This adjustment has a significant impact on the sound and vibration response of your instrument, allowing you to explore a broader range of sound characteristics and aesthetics that may be hidden within it.
How does it work?
The length of the tailgut determines the space between the saddle and the tailpiece, as well as the string afterlength, which is the length of the string between the tailpiece and the bridge. Altering the length of the tailgut can significantly affect the vibration response, providing a wide range of playing options.
The perfect fit
Several wooden adjusters of different sizes and tapers are included with each endpin, eliminating the need for cutting or sanding to fit the endpin to your instrument.
