Metal Violin Mute

This Metal violin mute is thin, but the heavy part is on the top side of this mute and slides over the top of the bridge to dampen the sound.

Made of heavy nickel-plated brass, it is designed to reduce the sound of your instrument for quiet practice so that you can play without disturbing other people and ensures that you do not change the intonation of your violin. As with other mutes, it clips onto the top of the bridge.
