Pernambuco violin bow, made in Brazil by a master bow maker with the name of Siqueira
Valdecir Siqueira was a Brazilian bowmaker who was one of the first Brazilian craftsmen to study bow-making in Europe. Eventually, Siqueira earned a position at the firm of Pierre Guillaume, where he worked for many years. After that, he returned to Brazil, establishing his atelier producing fine bows for the L’archet Brasil firm.
