The Amore viola has been popular with students who want a lovely-sounding viola without spending much money. The sound is better than the price tag suggests. The Amore viola produces a full-bodied and rich tone. It is shaped according to the suggestions of Lionel Tertis, the most famous viola player, about 80 years ago. This means the viola has a wider than 'normal' bottom. The Amore viola is fitted with Evah Pirazzi strings. The outfit includes a case, viola bow and fine rosin.
