The Dancing Violin is collection of easy to medium pieces written by Uwe Korn and Elena Malycheva. The pieces can all be played in the first position. There are five pieces for solo violin Butterflies, Prelude, Big Burger Boogie, Tanz, and Jazz Etude 10 duets for two violins Hippo Waltz, Song of the Polar Bears, Chicken Dance, Gangster Tango, Cobra Tango, Flatfooted March, Autumn Song, Dance of the Crabs, March of the Fleas, and Rain and 11 duets for violin and piano Waltz, the Little Lamb, Hungarian Dance, Cha Cha Cha, Slow Waltz, Nocturne, Rock n Roll, Tango, Spanish Dance, Rumba, and Samba The accompaning CD has been played by students of the Jugendmusikschule Rosenstein, Heubach (Markus Kesper, Marie Haller, Sarah Holder, Jennifer Rieger, Katharina Pschorr, Ruth Sachsenmaier), rehearsed by Regine Arafune and Jonathan Rhys Thomas, piano: Isolde Schneider, recording direction: Martin Thorwarth. The CD also contains playbacks with piano accompaniments.
