This Urtext edition from Breitkopf & Härtel, edited by Clemens Harasim, presents Mendelssohn’s two string quintets—Op. 18 and [Op. 87]—in their most authentic form. Based on the Leipzig Mendelssohn Complete Edition, these works for two violins, two violas, and cello reveal striking similarities despite being composed nearly twenty years apart. See EB 8998 for details.
