Crafted with a multi-stranded steel core and wound with high-grade Tungsten, there are two tensions available for Magnacore® strings: medium and strong. The medium tension strings produce a sonorous and broad sound with easy playability, suitable for cellos with a neutral to bright timbre. The strong Magnacore® strings offer even more volume and power with a slightly stiffer feel, resulting in a more focused and direct sound. They are recommended for all cellos, especially those with darker and deeper tones.
