Larsen Fractional Cello strings are designed especially for smaller instruments. For the first time, this set of strings enables uncompromised power and sound quality similar to that of full-sized instruments. Their warm, rich, focused sound, easy string response, and high tuning stability. The aim was to create a Larsen cello tailored explicitly for smaller instruments while preserving the distinctive original Larsen sound. Larsen's fractional cello strings are specifically designed and perfectly proportioned for our full-size Originals.
Our multi-stranded steel cores are expensive but generate a warm, focused sound with plenty of power and personality. We have brought the most advanced string construction technology to our Larsen Fractional Cello Strings.
