This meticulous approach guarantees that the materials in the strings can adjust and settle, significantly reducing break-in time.
- A-string: The tone is clear for the first few minutes and then gently settles into a full, round, and lush dark timbre. It truly captivates with its mellow tone.
- D-string: This is a strong string with incredible depth and volume, full of body and abundant power. It is always warm and strong, making it delightfully easy to play.
- G-string: This string inspires the cellist with its wild spirit, contributing to a more brilliant and tempestuous sound throughout the set. It produces a focused tone with colourful overtones and a warm undertone.
- C-string: Sonorous and deep, yet direct and clear, this string has a very large volume. Even with the slightest bow movement, the keynote is still prominent, showcasing long-sustaining power and impressively precise sound.
Medium strings produce a crystal-clear and precise sound that is powerful and grand. Each string responds easily and directly, with the G- and C-strings especially impressive as they react immediately to the lightest bow techniques.
