Passione strings offer a wide range of sounds, allowing musicians to adjust their tone. These strings are made with a sheep gut core manufactured, wound, and polished by hand using traditional methods. The core sound is full, round, and warm, with a complex overtone spectrum that provides brilliance, clarity, and powerful projection.

Tailpiece Options: The medium set includes the following strings: E-Silvery Steel 26, A-aluminum 13 1/2, D-silver 13 1/2, and G-silver 16 1/2. All A-, D-, and G strings have a ball end to make installation easier. The E-strings can be purchased with either a ball or loop end.
Packaging: Passione A-, D-, and G-strings are available in up to five gauge increments of 1/4 PM. The Passione E-string Silvery Steel is offered in gauges of 0.255mm, 0.26mm, and 0.267 mm, packed in a Straight Envelope.
Special Features:
The length of coloured silk at the peg end of the Passione G-string differs from that of the A- and D-string intentionally to aid in constructing the G-string. The special length of the G-string’s colour winding at the peg end prevents the string from breaking in the peg box. The stretching process will be finalized at the latest after two to three days, at which point the silk winding will no longer reach over the nut. We have conducted numerous tests with this unique G-string on various violins of different sizes, and the string has always fit. On some violins, it takes longer; on others, the string fits from the beginning.
