Berber Chin Rest
The Berber Boxwood Violin Chinrest was popular in the 1980s, particularly in Europe. There was a regular demand for this unusually shaped but rather beautiful chinrest, which fits over the tailpiece. It has recently regained popularity. Using only the highest quality seasoned, fine-grained hardwoods available, all are stained and finished using the traditional methods.
The Berber chinrest is a very comfortable option for violinists, accommodating various chin/jaw positions. A centre-mounted chinrest with a large, wide plate, sharp ridge, and tall plate height. This Berber-style chinrest has a medium size plate and elegant design that looks good and feels good!
Available in Ebony, Boxwood, and Rosewood for full-size Violin and Viola.
