Violin Shoulder Rest Willy Wolf: Forte Secondo
Shoulder Rest 'Willy Wolf Forte Secondo,' made in the Netherlands
The first Wolf shoulder rest was invented in 1964 by Willy Wolf in Amsterdam, which continued to be one of the most popular shoulder rests on the market. These shoulder rests have long been the favourites of professional violinists and violists.
The Wolf Forte Secondo shoulder rests are made of comfortable rubber mounted on Aluminium plating, which can be moulded to the player's shape. They are adjustable in height and width and feature a crescent-shaped pad designed for the player with narrower shoulders. The height can be adjusted from 0.5cm- 8cm.
- The curved bar contacts more body area for a secure hold.
- Sliding width adjustment for unlimited positioning along the instrument body.
- Wide, contoured rest with flexible legs for angle adjustments.
- It offers the option of more height than any other shoulder rest
- It is provided with two telescopic screws on both sides.
- Adjustable on either side to any angle and any width.
**** Please note***
Suggestion: On our 'Magic Posture' page, you can watch our video about the Magic Posture in which we use a Wolf Forte Secondo shoulder rest and a Teka chin rest combination.
It is a better option to buy the combination rather than just purchasing a wolf shoulder rest, particularly for musicians with a long neck and a slim shoulder.
