NS Design NXTa 4 String Cello. THE NXTa ACTIVE SERIES CELLO, available with 4 or 5 strings, fretless or fretted, opens up new vistas for the serious cellist. FEATURES The tone quality and dynamic range of the NXTa cello owe much to the self-powered NS Polar™ Pickup System. 

A convenient switch on the side of the NXTa allows the player to select sensitivity for either mode.

• Active Mode – for plugging the instrument straight into any low or high-impedance device; no direct box is necessary.

• U-shaped headpiece that screws into the top of the CR Tripod Stand.

• Large mounting bolt to keep the Bass End Pin Stand in place.

• The foot piece attaches at the bottom of the tripod stand for support when not in use.
