Arco Double Bass

The Arco Double Bass is the cheapest, most affordable student bass, and this upright bass comes in all sizes down to 1/8. Although it is made of laminated plywood, it is a great-sounding instrument. Even plywood can differ in quality - this one shows impressive tonal qualities. 

A complete professional set-up in our onsite workshop ensures ease of playing and enjoyment. The appearance may vary. Some Arco basses are lighter, some are darker, some are shiny, and some are matt depending on the batch, but they all have an ebony fingerboard and are appropriately set up. This includes planning the fingerboard in our Animato workshop, carving the bridge, fitting the sound post and more.

All new instruments set up by Animato Strings are covered by a full-year warranty. (Strings not included)

Please note: Basses and their cases are included in our Free shipping policy as long as the receiver is close enough to a Greyhound bus depot to pick up the goods from there.
