The Capriccio Double Bass comes in all sizes down to 1/8

This instrument has a solid spruce top, whereas the sides and back are plies.

It is essential for the sound to have a cooperating top, as the bridge transmits the vibrations of the strings onto the top. The ebony fingerboard and an excellent complete set-up in our onsite workshop ensure ease of playing and enjoyment.

The appearance may vary, but the Capriccio Double Bass usually has a shaded varnish, from golden to dark brown.
