Klotz Family are well-known violin makers from the mid-17th century up to the present in Mittenwald, Germany. They became a great influence to other families in their village by inspiring them to the violin trade.
This is a French JTL Virtuoso Violin Copy (c 1900) of Francisco Ruggieri dated 1671. Ruggieri was a skilled instrument maker from a renowned family of luthiers in Cremona, Italy. JTL represents Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy & Cie, a French musical instrument manufacturing company established by Louis Emile Jérôme Thibouville and Marguerite Hyacinthe Lamy in the early 1900s.
This violin is Labeled Johann Baptist Schweitzer 1844 Repaired by M Nebel New York c 1895. Johann Baptist Schweitzer was considered one of the finest violin makers in Vienna. He adopted a more classical approach to classical models, emulating Amati and Stradivari patterns with some authenticity. M. Nebel & Bros was established by the Nebel Brothers Martin, and Andrew Nebel who specialized in making and restoring violins.

Paul Beuscher began as a luthier who opened the Paul Beuscher Music Shop in 1850 in Paris at 27-29 Boulevard Beaumarchais. The string instruments bearing the label Paul Beuscher came most likely from Mirecourt, the centre of French violin making. They were bought there and sold in Paul Beuscher Music Shop in Paris bearing Paul Beuscher’s name.

The Alois Bittner Violin made in 1932 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Alois Bittner Alois Bittner was born in 1880 in Kral Pola, Czech Republic. He was a student of Franz Angerer and was awarded at various exhibitions with numerous distinctions due to his strong personal style and still very clean craftsmanship.
