Handcrafted in workshops directly supervised by Mr. Vasile Gliga. Highly flamed and naturally, aged sycamore maple is employed for the back, neck, and ribs. Close-grained Carpathian resonance spruce top. The outline of the instrument's body is deepened and the plates are precisely graduated. Special attention has been given to the deeply etched and well-highlighted scroll.
This is a Breton Mirecourt Violin made around 1900. Stamped internally Breton, Brevete, De S.A.R.M.e. Francois Breton was a French violin maker in Mirecourt, France who was Duchesse d’Angouleme’s personal luthier.
This violin was made by Louis Fricot violin, in Poussay, France dated 1930. Louis Fricot is a French luthier who received a silver medal in the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris and was appointed in 1912 as the Technical Director in the Thibouville Lamy workshop.
This is a French Violin made about 1920, a fine Stradivarius copy.
