    August Reichers (1836 – 1893) is a German violin maker who learned his trade in Markneukirchen, Germany under Carl Friedrich Fickers. He also worked with a violin bow specialist, Ludwig Bausch. Reichers both create violins patterned after Stradivarius violins and at the same time, he also does violin repairs.
