Pickup For Violin - Fishman V200 Professional
This piezo-ceramic pickup has the same pickup element as the V-100. It is easy to install or remove and produces a warm, true-to-life sound.
The only difference is that the V-200 employs a Carpenter-style, 1/4 output jack that mounts on the instrument's side with chinrest-style hardware. The V-100, on the other hand, mounts in the wing slot of the violin bridge with Fishman’s patented Floating Mount system.
Insert the metal wedge into the wing of the bridge, and you're good to go. In some instances, you may need some slight bridge work to widen the gap in the bridge.
An impedance-matching preamp is recommended but not required. When paired with an impedance-matching preamp, such as our Platinum Stage, Platinum Pro EQ, or Power Jack, the full potential of the V-100 can be realized.
