This particular violin is a carefully crafted replica of Antonio Stradivarius’s renowned violin, created exclusively for Animato Strings in 2016. Antonio Stradivari, an esteemed Italian master violin maker, is widely acknowledged for elevating the art of violin-making to its pinnacle. He was born in 1644 in Cremona, Duchy of Milan, and initially trained under Nicolo Amati before establishing himself as a prominent maker of violins, eventually labelling them with his own name. Stradivari passed away in Cremona in 1737, leaving behind a legacy of exquisitely crafted violins, now some of the world’s most highly prized and sought-after instruments, commanding top prices in the market.
This violin was made by Louis Fricot violin, in Poussay, France dated 1930. Louis Fricot is a French luthier who received a silver medal in the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris and was appointed in 1912 as the Technical Director in the Thibouville Lamy workshop.
This French Made Violin for Barnes and Mullins was created in London in about 1900. Barnes and Mullins are representing several musical instruments bearing the largest names in the industry.
