Winter Sunshine for String Orchestra by Keith Sharp
Winter Sunshine is a piece of music specially composed for a junior string ensemble. It has a warm vocal style and is constructed in three essential lines, played in unison, and opened into satisfying harmony and bass lines. The piano part adds tonal and harmonic dimension to the texture, making it easier for younger players to rehearse and perform confidently and adding depth of sound during performance. The piece is 2 minutes and 10 seconds long and is in the key of D Major.
