Haydn’s Lost Chorale is a revised version of The Abbey, inspired by Haydn’s St. Anthony’s Chorale. It’s scored for string orchestra with optional piano, including violin 3 (treble viola) and violin parts. It features a dotted rhythm, quasi-classical textures and singing themes.

The Crocodile Hornpipe is a piece of music for varying skill levels. Upper strings play in 1st position; lower strings play an easy chromatic walking bass—lively crocodile theme played by 3rd violins, violas, and cellos with a spiccato texture. Later, a 1st violin fiddle-style descant is added. Bass line anchors arrangement—optional piano part for more support.

This piece involves repeated upper-half staccato with crescendo and decrescendo, along with an exciting countermelody. The parts are evenly balanced, and all players get the chance to play the tune at some point. Upper violinists may choose to play in the third position as recommended. "Quasi Jig" is a piece for middle- to high-school string players. It features light-hearted accompaniments, Celtic-style fiddle themes, and syncopations. The piece is technically challenging and engaging for players with various skill levels, with melody, harmony, obligato, and accompanying roles shared among the players. Graded 3 lasts 4 minutes and 30 seconds, and it is in the key of G major/C major.
