French Copy of Montagnana Cello made around 1900. Domenico Montagnana is a Venice-based Italian luthier who was regarded as one of the most excellent violins and cello makers of his time.
German Cello by Helmut Illner - Goffriller Model. According to the label, it was made in 2004, just before Helmut Illner's retirement. This cello is handmade and hand-varnished with a balm mixture of red-brown. It is one of the high-level instruments made by Illner.

Back, ribs and scroll are made of Bosnian flamed maple from the wood that has aged for 30 years.
The top is made of Bosnian Mountain Spruce, which is also 30 years old.
The dimensions are typical for the Goffriller model, with a bottom bout that is wider than most other models.
The sound is powerful.

This Antique French violin was made by the famous luthier Jean Baptiste Colin at Mirecourt, Paris, in 1903, a superb example of a quality French instrument.
Louis Noebe was a German cellist who studied at the Leipzig Conservatory and played in several orchestras. He became a solo cellist and later established a workshop for creating violins, violas, and cellos. He improved violin making and developed the System Noebe, which increased the vibrations of the cello. He was also a German violin maker whose clients included famous musicians. He innovated in piano construction and developed a four-part coupling pedal in 1893. Today, his former residence is a listed building, and the Bad Homburg Municipal Historical Museum bought a violin by Louis Noebe for its 100th anniversary in 2016.
