This Stradivari pattern model is entirely hand-crafted from select-tone woods. The top is made from select spruce with a highly flamed maple back, ribs, and scroll. The boxwood pegs, tailpiece, and chinrest with ebony trim are hand-carved, and its antique-style spirit varnish is applied by hand.

This violin was made by Emile L'Humbert in Paris in 1926. Emile L'Humbert is a French luthier (1872-1933) who became a pupil of Derazey and Mougenot and was a worker of Blanchard in Lyon.
This is a French Violin made about 1920, a fine Stradivarius copy.
This Violin has the signature of an Italian Maker Renato Scrollavezza who was greatly admired and considered to be among the most notable modern Italian makers of the post-war era. He also won numerous prizes and medals in international competitions. This violin could have been made by one of his Japanese students - see the descrirtoion for details.
