Chicken in the Kitchen (Grade 1.5) for String Orchestra
Are you looking for a unique addition to your next concert? Check out this innovative piece that incorporates vocal "boks" from the ensemble to capture the sound of a frantic chicken running around a kitchen while being chased by an angry chef. The flexible scoring allows for separate melody and harmony parts for the cellos and basses, providing a challenge for your advanced students while offering easier parts for those still learning. Alternatively, the arrangement can be performed with a melody and piano accompaniment. Optional lyrics are also included, making it possible to involve your school choir in the performance.
