Keith Sharp has been a string educator in Brisbane since 1985. He teaches ensemble and group tuition at Brisbane State High School. He writes imaginative pieces for string students, which are now performed worldwide. His pieces are highlighted as Editor’s Choice in the J.W. Pepper Orchestral Music Catalog.
Keith is an accomplished music educator with a Bachelor of Music Degree and a Graduate Diploma in Further Education. He is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and has received several prestigious awards for his contributions to music education. Keith is a guest clinician, composer, teacher, and conductor and regularly appears at schools, music camps, and workshops. Additionally, he is the co-author of the popular beginner string method, Encore on Strings - Music Maestros.
